SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the field of the municipal economy and may be used at reprocessing of the solid household wastes. The device for decontamination of the being reprocessed solid household wastes contains the revolving drum-type screen and the sorting conveyor. The revolving drum-type screen represents the polyhedral prism, which faces are made in the form of the metallic grates and on the internal surface of the drum there is the spiral type rim. From above the revolving screen is covered by the jacket, which is equipped with the ultra-violet bactericidal lamps (UVBL) radially arranged along the axis of the jacket - on its rear wall and also inside the drum on the bar consolidated on the rear wall of the jacket of the drum-type screen. The invention ensures the effective decontamination of the mass of the sorting and reprocessing wastes.
