FIELD: waste water treatment.
SUBSTANCE: invention concerns extractive purification of effluents and spent solutions with content of phenols above 60 mg/dm3. In the process proposed, resulting liquid phases of phenol extract and waste water raffinate are separated from each other through a mechanical way, after which phenol is removed by separation of liquid phases according to composition. Activation of collected effluents in the beginning of purification cycle is performed with solution of multi-purpose industrial washing agent, which is aqueous solution of nonionic-ionic surfactant complex with additives containing, as main components, organosilicon compositions of nonionic surfactants, sodium hydroxide, and ionic surfactants (alkylbenzenesulfonates and higher fatty acid salts). Thereafter, activation of primary extract is conducted simultaneously with removal of phenol therefrom.
EFFECT: simplified process, which can me implemented at any enterprise performing processes producing spent solutions, enhanced phenol removal efficiency, and speeded up cycle at minimum power and material consumption.
