FIELD: silicate materials.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to enamels used to coat preferably decorative and artistic-destination articles and can be deposited onto articles of steel and alloys based on copper, nickel, and other metals. Enamel of invention is composed of, wt %: PbO 8.0-10.0, K2O 8.0-12.0, SnO2 1.5-3.0, ZnO2 1.5-3.0, ZrO2 1.5-2.0, CaO 10.0-15.0, CuO 3.0-5.0, CoO 6.0-8.0, SiO2 48.0-54.5.
EFFECT: improved quality of enamel, widened application area, and prolonged lifetime of enameled articles.
