METROLOGY ASSEMBLY FOR SIMULTANEOUS CALIBRATION OF TEMPERATURE AND PRESSURE CHANNELS OF COMPLEX WELL EQUIPMENT Russian patent published in 2007 - IPC G01K15/00

Abstract RU 2306534 C2

FIELD: metrology.

SUBSTANCE: metrology assembly can be used to provide metrology testing of geophysical complex well equipment. Metrology assembly for simultaneous calibration of complex well equipment's temperature and pressure channels has thermal chamber, controlled heaters, and reference temperature meter and reference manometer. Air-proof thermal chamber is filled with water and it made to achieve high temperature up to 150°C due to creation of over-warmed vapor pressure up to 0,3 Pa. Case of thermal chamber is made of stainless steel and it has thermally isolated from outside. Reference temperature meter is disposed in area of verification of thermal chamber, disposed at its top cavity in close vicinity from detectors of temperature meters of well devices to be calibrated. Time constant of heating of reference thermometer equals to time constant of heating of thermal detectors of well devices to be calibrated. Controlled heaters are disposed at lower part of ring-shaped temperature chamber; they are distant from area of measurement as far as possible. Assembly has cooling set to get temperatures lower than 5°C; dead-weight pressure-gauge tester, which applies pressure to channels of well devices directly through high-pressure duct; quick-removable flange with carriage, which provides easiness of installation of devices in thermal chamber; circulation pump with adjustable productivity; two containers which can be used multiple during technological process for closed cycle, unit for controlling reference thermometer, program-controlled power units of well devices to be calibrated.

EFFECT: widened temperature range; improved stability of readings of devices at repeated heating; improved precision; higher ecological characteristics.
