UNIT FOR CALIBRATION OF BOREHOLE PRESSURE AND TEMPERATURE GAGES Russian patent published in 2015 - IPC G01K15/00 

FIELD: oil-and-gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: unit for calibration of borehole pressure and temperature gages contains a heat chamber, an operated heater located in a heat chamber cavity parallel to calibrated borehole devices, a reference thermometer, a reference manometer and PC operated control panel. The system is also fitted with a thermocryostat, and the heat chamber is designed as a horizontal metal bathtub with heat insulated walls. On the bathtub cover a hydropanel with deadweight gage piping is mounted. Inside the bathtub a temperature control unit, implemented as an electric heater, of a submersible circulation pump and piping, and also a reference thermometer are installed. At the bathtub bottom a horseshoe-shaped tube of the water cooling systems with two branch pipes laid outside from the bathtub end face and two replaceable lodgements for borehole devices are installed. From an opposite end face of the bathtub two casing-covered pipelines with valves, connected to a thermocryostat, are laid out. The bathtub is rigidly fixed on a frame with supports.

EFFECT: design simplification, calibration range expansion.
