WALL-MOUNTED SWITCH Russian patent published in 2007 - IPC H01H36/00

Abstract RU 2306630 C1

FIELD: electrical engineering; electric-circuit switching devices, internally illuminated switches used as switch-and-light combinations.

SUBSTANCE: proposed wall-mounted switch has case accommodating switching devices and terminals for connecting the latter to supply mains and to load, switching-device control unit in the form of keys, light-emitting components in the form of directional light-emitting diodes, and protective cover whose bottom wall has hole to pass light-emitting diode beam. Light-emitting diode can be disposed above upper edge of hole to protect user's eyes and to facilitate use of light built in switch; axes of case and light-emitting diode lenses are directed downwards and are disposed at certain angle to vertical plane; hole is designed to pass entire light flux coming from light-emitting diodes.

EFFECT: enlarged functional capabilities.
