FIELD: lighting equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to lighting equipment, namely to thin lighting devices with lateral placement of LEDs and intended for use as ceiling and wall lighters. Flat lighting device with end illumination contains a flat light conductor made of glass or transparent plastic; LED board installed at the end face of the fiber; power supply for LEDs; body formed by series-connected extruded profiles made of dielectric plastic and having an open cavity for holding a flat light guide and arranging the LED circuit board; housing profile connecting portion including an angle member with a cover, wherein at least one of the housing profiles has a closed cavity for accommodating a power source and / or an LED control circuit; LED board has a U-shape, the middle and side sections of which are installed along the walls of the cavity with the possibility of their reinforcement and heat transfer, while the side portions of the U-shaped LED board constitute the surface of the light reflector, and in the area where the LEDs are placed, there are restraints that ensure the positioning of the fiber end face at a distance no closer than 0.1 mm from the LEDs.
EFFECT: increased rigidity of design and compactness of the illuminator due to the monoblock construction and the use of progressive materials.
