FIELD: electronics; various devices for shielding space from magnetic field.

SUBSTANCE: proposed composite combined magnetic shield has ring fragments made of ferromagnetic material and covered with insulating layer and high-temperature superconductor layer overall so that these covered ferromagnetic rings are joined together during their assembly to form magnetic and superconducting shells. When temperature rises above critical value, superconducting material transfers to normal condition and stops shielding inner space. However, closed ferromagnetic shell keeps performing shield functions, though with lower degree of effectiveness. Rate of magnetic field variation within shield is naturally much lower.

EFFECT: enhanced quality of magnetic shield, provision for lower degree of shielding.
