FIELD: dust catching technique.
SUBSTANCE: cyclone has casing with dust discharge branch pipe, untwisting device with helical cover and discharge pipe, inlet and outlet branch pipes equal in diameter, and filtering member made from material having increased sound absorbing properties. Filtering member is connected to hopper reservoir positioned on base common for cyclone casing. Cutoff washer is positioned in upper part of hopper reservoir. Outlet branch pipe of cyclone casing is connected to inlet of filtering member through additional air duct. Filtering member is made in the form of filter-cartridge formed as cylindrical wire or core type carcass with upper and lower flanges. Filtering material is fixed on said carcass by means of straps arranged in plane perpendicular to axis of carcass. Regeneration system is positioned on upper flange of filter-cartridge.
EFFECT: increased efficiency and enhanced reliability in dust catching process of cyclone.
