FIELD: processes for separating and regenerating solid abrasive materials, possibly for extracting abrasive grains suitable for further using in production processes.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of regenerating abrasive material from waste products being waste abrasive articles on base of bakelite binder; removing binder by double-stage leaching with use of 5 - 20 % solution of single-acid basic compound; performing first stage of leaching at agitating waste materials during 6 - 8 hours; after second stage of leaching washing out abrasive material with water and then drying it.
EFFECT: enhanced efficiency and quality of cleaning abrasive material from organic binder, lowered cost price of abrasive material, elimination of environment contamination.
