FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to recovery of abrasive suspensions with reusable components used for cutting crystalline silicon, quartz or ceramic materials that get depleted and enriched with undesirable waste materials. Proposed method consists in centrifuging waste suspension and wet-grading to fractions containing abrasive grains produced by centrifuging performed on hydro cyclones or centrifuges connected in series. Section of recovery and abrasive grain cleaning comprises multifunctional apparatus to carry out all required jobs in sole pressurised vessel. Invention covers also the apparatus to perform treatment of waste abrasive grains in compliance with above described method.

EFFECT: complete recovery of reusable abrasive grains.
