SUBSTANCE: proposed cast iron contains the following components, mass-%: carbon, 3.2-3.6; silicon, 1.8-2.2; manganese, 0.4-0.6; magnesium, 0.03-0.07; cerium, 0.1-0.15; zirconium, 1.0-1.8; barium, 0.03-0.07; nitrogen, 0.08-0.12; nickel, 2.5-3.5; the remainder being iron.
EFFECT: enhanced strength of cast iron.
