SUBSTANCE: proposed steel contains the following components, mass-%: carbon, 0.2-0.4; silicon, 0.1-0.2; manganese, 0.4-0.8; chromium, 0.5-1.0; strontium, 0.03-0.05; nickel, 3.0-4.0; barium, 0.05-0.01; titanium, 1.0-2.0; boron, 0.01-0.02; the remainder being iron.
EFFECT: enhanced toughness; improved quality and reliability of articles made from this steel.
