FIELD: poultry processing industry, in particular, processes for pre-slaughtering poultry stunning, may be used in slaughter houses of cage plants and integrated poultry farms, meat processing factories for processing of broilers, ducks, turkeys, layer hens etc.

SUBSTANCE: method involves feeding short-time discharge to body of each bird, said discharge including sequence of variously shaped pulses. Each bird is retained with its legs within hangers of spatial overhead conveyor designed for transportation of birds according to said process by means of device rotating in synchronism with conveyor and furnished with corona forming units including electrodes, said feeding of discharge lasting during time interval directly proportional to bird's electric resistance.

EFFECT: improved quality of processing of poultry and reduced time for electric stunning of poultry.
