FIELD: agriculture; other industries; methods of utilization of the sunflower baskets.

SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the agriculture, in particular, to the methods of utilization of the wastes of the sunflower seed harvesting - the sunflower baskets. The offered method provides, that the dry baskets of sunflower are washed till appearance of the uncolored washing water, separate the solid rest, dry it at first at the temperature of 60 - 65°С, then at the temperature of 100 - 105°С, crush it, disperse it, separate the fraction of 0.2 - 3.0 mm. The method allows to produce the sorbent from the sunflower baskets, which is used for purification of the water solutions of the heavy metals, for example, copper and cadmium and from the organic pollutions, for example, methylene blue, to exclude environmental contamination.

EFFECT: the invention allows to produce the sorbent from the sunflower baskets used for purification of the water solutions of the heavy metals (copper and cadmium), and from the organic pollutions like methylene blue, to exclude environmental contamination.
