FIELD: procedures for applying dispersed powder polymeric coatings.
SUBSTANCE: feeder has improved design with apparatus for taking powder in the form of hopper. Said hopper includes two vessels; upper vessel is filled with powder and it is provided with lateral cone surface whose apex is turned to side of lower vessel and with outlet opening for pouring out powder. Upper vessel is arranged in lower one with possibility of communication of upper portion of lower vessel to environment.
EFFECT: improved design providing uniform discharging of powder to taking zone, creation of fluidized region in small space that allows use lower pressure of inlet gas, reduced power of used equipment, lowered energy consumption.
