SUBSTANCE: proposed seal of floating tank roof has wall of tank, peripheral part of floating roof, upper and lower secondary seals, protective metal sheet, rubberized-cloth curtain, articulated rod system, compression springs, sliding sheet, apron, articulated system for connecting sliding sheet with scraper, scraper and ring heaters. Invention makes it possible to increase gas tightness of seal, reduce to minimum contamination of seal inner space, increase fire safety, provide more effective cleaning of tank walls from remnants of oil, deposits of paraffin, contaminants, reduced time taken for mounting and increase repairability.
EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities.
