FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to storage of oil and oil products, particularly in vertical tanks equipped with pontoons. Sealing gate for pontoon (7) of reservoir (8) consists of seal (5) in the form of a tight ring, which is constantly pressed to the wall of reservoir (8) by a system of springs and covering the gap of curtain (6). Springs (1), arranged in pairs in different directions relative to each other and rigidly fixed by one end on board of pontoon (8), operate in horizontal plane. Carriage consisting of two sliders (2) and two horizontal axes (3) is attached to the movable ends of two adjacent springs (1). Slides (2) are installed with possibility of movement with low friction force along horizontal axes (3) in direction from each other at increase and towards each other, at decrease of gap between pontoon and tank wall. Seal (5) is constantly in contact with the wall of the reservoir along the entire perimeter of the reservoir during movement of the pontoon.

EFFECT: invention increases safety of tank operation, increases useful volume of the tank and reduces losses of oil/oil products from evaporation.
