FIELD: oil industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to storage means for liquid hydrocarbons (mainly oil and petroleum products), it can be used at liquid hydrocarbon storage facilities to reduce their losses from evaporation in vertical tanks with a floating roof. The module of the perimeter sealing gate for the floating roof of a vertical tank contains a platform installed on the end part of the floating roof, a sealing unit including the main and additional seals, a clamping plate, clamping mechanisms, an external seal fixed at one end on the upper surface of the floating roof and touching its free end with the tank wall, and connecting tapes to ensure the connection of the main, additional and external seals with the seals of adjacent modules of the perimeter sealing gate.
EFFECT: increased operating efficiency of the gate for the floating roof of the vertical tank.
