FIELD: engineering of equipment for lowering and lifting geophysical devices in wells with excessive mouth pressure.
SUBSTANCE: the weight contains a set of sections, each one of which is made in form of a pipe, filled with substance having high specific weight, while sections are coupled with each other, with a device and catching head. Each section of the weight has threaded tips, and catching head is screwed onto upper section, while weight sections are coupled between each other and the device by semi-spherical connections, each one of which consists of a body and a cylinder, having respectively on one side the internal thread for connection of section to each other or to head of cable tip, on reverse side the body is made with concave semi-spherical surface with an aperture at the center, and the cylinder - with internal and external convex semi-spherical surfaces and conical aperture, and ball finger with aperture at the center and conical recess for cable for connection of body and cylinder to each other along semispherical surfaces, wherein sections may rotate freely relatively to each other and the device around the cable, with simultaneous alternation of bending angle between sections and the device for up to 15°.
EFFECT: creation of homogeneous structure ensuring reliable and trouble-free execution of lifting-lowering operations, during geophysical research in vertical and directional wells equipped with tubing string.
