FIELD: pipeline transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to servicing of pipeline systems designed for transportation of liquid media and it can be used as auxiliary devices preventing accumulation of mud and dirt in pipelines. In proposed mud trap three-dimensional members are made in form of part of ball enclosed between two parallel secant planes. Height of three-dimensional members is equal to distance between part of members far from surface of pipe. Holes in pipe are made elongated and orientated parallel to plane of bottom. Two holders are arranged under each three-dimensional member on pipe for overlapping holes in pipe, being installed for rotation around pipe. Two blade cutting plates are secured on each holder at angle of 30°-32°, being arranged at a distance from surface of pipe equal to 1-3 mm. One ring, width from 7 to 9 mm is secured on lower holder on plates orientated in radial direction. Rectangular plates are secured over outer perimeter of ring at angle of 45° to vertical and at equal distance from each other. Member designed to prevent getting of particles earlier settled on bottom into medium to be cleaned is cone-shaped, with large base pointed upwards, which is secured on pipe, and mud discharge branch pipe is mounted in lower part of cone-shaped member.
EFFECT: increased degree of water cleaning.
