FIELD: wireless data transfer systems.
SUBSTANCE: a mobile terminal of a user accesses packet data transmission network through one or more of the several network access points. One or more control points determine, which network access point or points user terminal should access. Control may be maintained in current control point or be transferred to other control point every time when it is comfortable. Preferably, several routers are available, each one having its own agent associated with it, which determines which external agents should be accessed from each user terminal. Several external agents are available, which route the packets received from the own agent of user terminal to control point, which currently controls communication with user terminal.
EFFECT: increased reliability of communications, improved cost and latency characteristics, reduced load.
