CUT FOREST COVER AND SCRUB PLANT COLLECTING AND STUMP SUPPRESSING MACHINE Russian patent published in 2007 - IPC A01G23/06 

FIELD: technique for collecting of cut forest cover and scrub plants along channels, power transmission lines, may be used in agriculture, forestry and amelioration for clearing of areas from scrub and forest cover.

SUBSTANCE: machine has self-propelled chassis, pushing frame, clamp, toothed working tool, and hydraulic cylinders for rotation of working tool and clamp. Teeth are made rotating in transverse direction and equipped with drags pivotally fixed at their ends, said drags being spring-loaded in horizontal and vertical planes. Tines are positioned and rigidly fixed behind teeth on pushing frame. Shaft is pivotally fixed on tines and equipped with supporting wheels and hollow drum, which are rigidly fixed thereon. There is reservoir containing arboricide mixture and mounted on tines, said reservoir being connected through flexible pipeline with shaft wherein arboricide mixture feeding channel is provided for feeding said mixture into hollow drum. There are devices on drum for application of arboricide mixture onto stump surface, said devices comprising cylinder with bypass valve, return spring, stem with channel and discharge openings for feeding of arboricide mixture onto stump surface, piston with central opening communicated with channel within stem through additional bypass valve. Method allows collection of cut forest cover and scrub plants to be executed simultaneously with treatment of stumps with arboricide mixture after cutting of plants for preventing undergrowth from renewal.

EFFECT: increased efficiency, wider operational capabilities and reduced time for execution of works for removal of undesired forest cover and scrub plants.
