FIELD: technique for cutting of undesired forest and brush cover from slopes of channels and roads, and for clearing of sites during carrying out of amelioration works.
SUBSTANCE: brush cutter has base tractor, telescopic boom with telescope, hydraulic cylinder for extension of telescope, working tool formed as disk saw fixed at end of telescope, and two systems for feeding of arboricide mixture onto stump surfaces. Telescopic boom is mounted on handle of hydraulic manipulator positioned on base tractor. Working tool is driven by hydraulic motor fixed at free end of telescope and is mounted on output shaft of hydraulic motor. Central system for applying of arboricide mixture onto stump surfaces is positioned within working tool of brush cutter. Disk saw has two symmetrical slots with outer pipe fixed within each of said slots. Capillary apertures are provided at one end of outer pipe, in the vicinity of disk saw teeth. Inner pipe movably positioned within cavity of outer pipe is spring-loaded by means of spring which is also positioned within cavity of outer pipe, on the side of capillary apertures. Outer pipe has opening for delivery of arboricide mixture into its cavity, said opening being aligned with opening in saw disk, the latter opening communicating with cavity of housing rigidly joined to disk saw. Housing cavity is connected via pipeline with arboricide mixture reservoir positioned on telescopic boom. Immovable ring is rigidly fixed on pipeline for preventing leakage from housing. Two sealing collars are fixed between ring and housing wall. Follower skid of cutter has additional system for applying of said mixture onto stump ends, including supporting pole connected to telescopic boom and provided with guide. Movable cover is positioned on guide. Circular membrane is fixed on cover vertical wall. Channel in skid base has capillary apertures closed with spherical members. Return spring is positioned between skid base and guide. Partition in guide has central return valve and channel connected via flexible pipeline to said reservoir. Cutter allows channel or road slopes to be cleared from forest and brush cover and simultaneously stump end surfaces to be covered with arboricide mixture for effective suppression of stumps.
EFFECT: wider operational capabilities, minimized consumption of arboricide mixture, and effective preventing leakage of said mixture into environment.
