FIELD: forestry and amelioration, in particular, technique for cleaning of areas from scrub and undergrowth.
SUBSTANCE: apparatus has rotary bar with attachment and tines fixed at ends of rotary bar. Picking up teeth are fixed on tines by means of horizontal cross-pieces, said teeth being made in the form of pipe with straight and curvilinear portions. Pressing comb is pivotally fixed on upper horizontal cross piece, said comb being driven from hydraulic cylinder attached to rotary bar. Two slots are provided in front part of each picking up tooth, in the vicinity of detachable tip, each of said slots being adapted for accommodation of arboricide mixture application device comprising forward sawing plate mounted on rotary lever which is pivotally fixed by means of shaft within cavity of picking up tooth and spring-loaded in horizontal plane through springy member. Arboricide mixture feeding valve is fixed at free end of rotary lever, said valve consisting of body, return spring, and sharpened tip. Arboricide mixture feeding channel is provided within sharpened tip for feeding of said mixture to spray nozzle provided at rear side of sharpened tip. In order to feed arboricide mixture to sharpened tip, body is equipped with channel communicated with flexible pipeline which is connected through T-piece with main pipeline positioned within cavity of picking up tooth. Main pipeline is extending through opening at rear side of vertical part of picking up tooth and is connected with accumulating reservoir mounted on rotary bar. Accumulating reservoir is connected through flexible pipeline to pump which is fixed on rotary bar and connected through flexible pipeline to arboricide mixture tank positioned within cavity of rotary bar. Working cavity of accumulating reservoir is also communicated through bypass valve with arboricide tank. Apparatus of such construction allows picking up of forest cover and scrubs to be carried out simultaneously with application of arboricide mixture into stump bodies for preventing renewal of undergrowth.
EFFECT: enhanced reliability in operation, wider operational capabilities, and reduced consumption of arboricide mixture for treatment of stumps.
