SUBSTANCE: cast iron contains, wt%: carbon 3.0-3.8; silicon 0.5-1.0; manganese 1.0-1.5; copper 0.5-1.0; aluminum 0.1-0.2; calcium 0.01-0.02; phosphor 0.1-0.2; barium nitrides 0.01-0.03; boron 0.05-0.1; nickel 3.5-4.5; niobium 1.5-2.5; iron the balance.
EFFECT: increased strength of cast iron.
