FIELD: technology for manufacturing a product of highly filled polymer composition, in particular, method for determining survivability of polymer composition on basis of dynamics of growth of viscosity up to its maximally allowed value, ensuring shaping of monolithic product.
SUBSTANCE: method includes forming a sample of prepared polymer composition in mould for measuring viscosity, thermostatting the mould at temperature, corresponding to upper limit of product shaping temperature, measuring of viscosity every 3-5 hours. Thermostatting of polymer composition and measuring of its viscosity is performed until reaching the maximal allowed value of it, providing for manufacture of monolithic product. Time needed to achieve maximal viscosity value is regarded as survivability time of polymer composition.
EFFECT: increased efficiency.
