FIELD: communications engineering, possible use for electric communication via fiber-optic lines, which may be used for ultra-tight packing of large groups of short-distance and long-distance lines.
SUBSTANCE: first variant of packing device comprises shuttle loop optical route, on several multiply used prisms. It is meant for packing with wave length step from λ=1 to λ=0.1 nanometer or for large number of fiber-optic lines for city scale automatic telephone exchanges and long distance mains, or for terminals and multiplexers of client access systems. In accordance to the second variant, device comprises two or more cascades with shuttle loop optical route, possible use for packing with wave length step of λ=0.01 nanometer order. With wave length resolution of hundredth parts of nanometer both variants require only micrometric manufacturing precision. Automatic optical telephone exchanges contain, common either for all or for large line groups, multi-linear packing devices and multi-cascade commutation system composed of repeated optical connectors, which are connected by multi-point inter-cascade screens instead of immense number of fiber-optic connections.
EFFECT: creation of simple packing devices.
