FIELD: cleaning surfaces by means of vacuum cleaner preventing contamination of user hands due to possibility of removing dust receiver without manual rotation of separator after their mutual disengagement.

SUBSTANCE: vacuum cleaner includes housing where dust separator is mounted with possibility of rotation for extracting dust from dust-laden air and being in the form of one-cyclone unit or multi-cyclone unit; dust receiver detachably mounted in housing of vacuum cleaner under dust separator; locking unit for mutually engaging/disengaging dust separator and dust receiver. When dust separator and dust receiver are mutually disconnected unlocking unit provided in vacuum cleaner rotates dust separator by predetermined angle. Locking unit includes button arranged in handle of dust receiver and having hook; fastening member arranged in dust separator and designed for engaging with hook and releasing it; first elastic member for forcing button in direction corresponding to hook engagement. Unlocking unit includes fixed member secured to housing of vacuum cleaner; guide mounted on said fixed member; movable member mounted in guide with possibility of motion between first and second positions; second elastic member arranged between fixed and movable members and designed for displacing movable member towards second position.

EFFECT: improved design, comfortable maintenance of vacuum cleaner, prevention of dust shaking out from dust receiver at removing it.
