CAVITATIONAL REACTOR Russian patent published in 2007 - IPC B01J19/00

Abstract RU 2309008 C1

FIELD: chemical industry; food-processing industry; pharmaceutical industry; production of the cavitational reactors.

SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the apparatuses for treatment by the cavitation of the water solutions used in chemical industry, food-processing industry and pharmaceutical industry and may be used for intensification of the liquid-phase reactions, for preparation of the pickles at production of the fish-products, meat-products and vegetable products, and also the tinned goods made out of the animal raw and-or the vegetable raw, for preparation of the physiological solutions and the liquid pharmaceutical products. The reactor is intended for treatment of the solutions of the electrolytes having the density above the density of the water: organic and mineral acids, their salts, some bases, and also polyelectrolytes. The reactor contains the surfaces, which in the solution will limit the space of the ultrasonic wave exciting the cavitation in the direction of its ray. The distance in the normal between these surfaces is set in the certain range. It allows to develop in the reactor the greatest possible and equal cavitation power at treatment of the solutions of the electrolytes of any concentration and to create conditions of the treatment, at which the energy of the ultrasonic sound transformed in the solution by means of the cavitation and performing in it the certain job is determined only by the time of the treatment.

EFFECT: the invention allows to develop in the reactor the greatest possible and equal cavitational power at treatment of the solutions of the electrolytes of any concentration and to create conditions of the treatment, at which the energy of the ultrasonic sound is determined only by the time of the treatment.
