FIELD: construction, particularly to drive piles, sheet piles, metal tubes and other building units in ground in vertical direction.
SUBSTANCE: hammer comprises body 1, percussion means installed in the body so that percussion means may slide in axial direction, anvil block 4, damping means 9 and drive 3 connected to percussion means through flexible member 5. Drive 3 is mounted on frame 6 connected to body 1. End annular groove 8 is made in upper part of body 1 and extends along perimeter thereof. The end annular groove is adapted to receive said ring-shaped damping means 9. Frame 6 of drive 3 has annular extension formed in low end surface thereof and adapted to be inserted in said annular groove 8 of body 1 so that the extension is supported by ring-shaped damping means 9. Frame 6 is fastened to body 1 so that is may slide in axial direction.
EFFECT: increased hammer operational reliability due to improved percussion means reliability.
