SUBSTANCE: hammer that drives construction members into soil includes body carrying striker mounted for movement, anvil block and drive linked by flexible member to striker. Striker has socket into which mobile tie rod and power member embracing it are inserted. Power member is kept in stressed state by means of flange anchored on upper butt of striker. In this case force under which power member is compressed in advance equal weight of striker. EFFECT: prolonged service life of hammer. 1 dwg
