FIELD: heat power engineering; thermal power stations.
SUBSTANCE: invention is designed to reveal places of air infiltration in thermal power station. According to proposed method of operation of thermal power station, steam generated in boiler is directed to turbine and is condensed in condenser, and then main condensate of turbine is supplied by condensate pump into feed water deaerator. To located places of air in filtration use is made of Ph pickups by means of which Ph level in main condensate of turbine after condensate pump and in condensate of heater of initial additional water and upper and lower system heaters is measured and places of air infiltration are determined by absolute values of reading of Ph meters and by difference in said readings.
EFFECT: increased economy and improved reliability of thermal power station.
