FIELD: mechanical engineering; rotary-piston internal combustion engines.
SUBSTANCE: according to invention, proposed engine contains body with fitted-in rotating cylinder block accommodating cylindrical chambers for floating cylinders with pistons, and gear-crank-connecting rod power mechanism with gear ratio of fixed and movable gears equal to 2. Cylinder block is installed in body with clearance and with displacement of its center relative to center of body. Each floating cylinder consists of sleeve and asymmetric head and it is installed for reciprocating in corresponding cylindrical chamber of cylinder block. Valve mechanism and spark plug are arranged in each asymmetric head. Spark plug operates from current distributor installed in body. Reciprocation of floating cylinders is provided by power mechanism of their drive made of power tie-rods hinge coupled by pins with asymmetric heads and by support bars with holders installed on antifriction bearings in body. Centers of holders installed on antifriction bearings coincide with center of body. Invention provides continued expansion of gases in working chambers of floating cylinders.
EFFECT: increased power output and economy, reduced torque losses and increased engine speed.
