FIELD: radio equipment for short-wave radio communications and radio broadcast; television, ultrashort-wave radio broadcast and radio communications.
SUBSTANCE: proposed multistage rhombic antenna is assembled of partial rhombic antennas whose longitudinal diagonals are disposed on single straight line; first rhombic antenna is loaded into second one through two-wire line section and second rhombic antenna, into third one through two-wire line section, etc. The last rhombic antenna is not loaded into active resistor and operates in no-load mode. Length of two-wire line section interconnecting rhombic antennas may equal zero. Conductors of each two-wire line section may be connected to opposite conductors of next partial rhombic antenna.
EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of antenna area utilization; enhanced directivity and gain.
