FIELD: medical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: instrument can be used in vascular surgery for treatment of tubular organs. Vascular instrument for endarterectomy has handle, conductor and working end in form of ring. Conductor has to be flexible rod which has one end connected with handle. Ring-shaped working end is attached to other end of conductor at angle to it. Part of working end, adjacent to conductor, is made with sharpened edge. External surface of working end has profile in form of cuts. Cuts are sharpened at direction to handle and they are made for remove of residual pathological seats. Instrument can be used for wider range of vessels to provide more efficient rejection of residual seats when instrument is pulled out of vessel.
EFFECT: higher quality of endarterectomy.
