SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical equipment. Unit for transvascular liver access comprises an introducer sheath configured to intersect part of the vasculature between the point of entry and the liver. Sheath has a curved distal tip and a pointer. Pointer is connected adjacent to the proximal end of the sheath and is positioned such that a portion of the pointer lies substantially in the same plane as the curved distal tip.
EFFECT: device is designed for biopsy.
