FIELD: rolled stock production, namely method and apparatus for producing seamless tubes or branch pipes in rolling mill with use of system for feeding lubricant onto guiding discs.

SUBSTANCE: rolling mill includes pair of rolling rolls arranged by some angle; pair of guiding discs mounted at different sides relative to rolling axis; mandrel and lubricant supply system. System for supplying lubricant includes reservoir for storing lubricant, main line passing from said storage reservoir to place of mounting guiding discs; atomizer arranged at end part of main line; apparatus for changing direction of flow arranged approximately in middle of main line; main line passing from apparatus for changing direction of flow to said reservoir; apparatus for pressure relief in main line arranged between atomizer and apparatus for changing direction of flow. In order to prevent jamming of main line by viscous lubricant when piercing is not performed, circulation of lubricant is realized. In order to keep rolling rolls clear from fall of lubricant remained in end portion of main line when piercing is not performed, pressure relief is realized.

EFFECT: improved operational reliability of system for supplying lubricant.
