FIELD: power engineering, connection of support insulator to solid bus in the form of tube.

SUBSTANCE: proposed support insulator and solid bus system connection unit of switchgear incorporating support insulator and two solid buses running thereto and supported on one end by mentioned support insulator has supporting table mounting leads of solid buses running to support insulator; solid buses are installed on supporting table and spaced apart; each bus is connected to support insulator by means of clip enclosing solid bus; clip is made in the form of two semi-rings; first semi-ring has flat on outer surface for installing clip onto supporting table. second semi-ring is joined at least on one side with first semi-ring by means of detachable joint.

EFFECT: simplified design and enhanced reliability of proposed movable connection unit.
