FIELD: agricultural engineering.
SUBSTANCE: apparatus comprises disks having broken conical surface, with two portions defined between generatrices of disks being inclined at different angles α1 and α2. Angle α1 is determined from condition:0 deg≤α1=2arctgL1-L/2R1, where L is distance between generatrices of conical disks along single shaft, mm; L=Dmin-5-10 mm; Dmin is minimum diameter or root, mm; L1 is distance between conical disks along line of changing angles of inclination of generatrices, mm; L1=Dmin; R1 is distance from axis of rotation of conical disks to line of changing angles of inclination of generatrices in vertical plane, mm; R1=lmin 2+5-10 mm, l2 min is distance from line of maximum diameter to apex of root head having minimum diameter, mm. Angle α2 is determined from expression: α2=φmin r.max±5 deg,φmin r.max is minimum angle of tapering of root tail part having maximum diameter and length, deg. Distance L2 between conical disks over points defining maximum diameter is determined from expression: L2=Dmax+5-10 mm, Dmax is maximum diameter of root, mm. Part of guiding trough is inserted into flare of conical disks. Said part conforms in its shape to said flare and is beveled in longitudinal plane at an angle to line of guiding trough bottom, said line being arranged at an angle αhor tr, said angle being greater by 10-15 deg than friction angle of roots sliding over its surface. Stabilizing member of flexible resilient material is positioned above conical disks. Lower part of stabilizing member is inserted into flare of conical disks to repeat contour of flare. Stop extending downward from single shaft is made in the form of metal plate contoured so as to conform in shape to flare of conical disks. Conical disks are closed at their discharge side with housing.
EFFECT: enhanced reliability in orienting of variously shaped conical roots regardless of their geometric parameters, and increased efficiency of apparatus.
