FIELD: agricultural engineering, in particular, equipment for oriented planting of farm crops.
SUBSTANCE: apparatus has endless pulling member furnished with grips and adapted for displacement in V-shaped trough open from the top and bottom and having horizontal rectilinear orienting portion. Endless pulling member is arranged laterally of V-shaped trough in longitudinal-inclined plane, parallel with one side of V-shaped trough. Angle between sides of V-shaped trough is smaller than minimal value of root tapering angle. Beater drum with elastic blades is positioned transverse to V-shaped trough, above it. Linear speed of ends of elastic beaters coincides with direction of linear speed of grips and its value exceeds that of grips. Grips of endless pulling member are made flat and have shape of inverted trapezium corresponding to contour of V-shaped trough section. Elastic scrapers for sides of V-shaped trough are fixed to grip sides.
EFFECT: increased efficiency in orienting of conical roots and uniform feeding of roots into planting unit.
