FIELD: agricultural engineering.

SUBSTANCE: reversible scraper-type conveyor has horizontal reciprocating drive bar with working stroke and idle stroke, catches positioned on drive bar, and slide adapted for cooperation with said bar for performing intermittent-progressive motions along said bar and equipped with scraper to be used for acting upon surface to be cleaned, and periodically acting grip which when in operating position comes into engagement with catch and is pivotally fixed above bar for rotation in vertical plane. Grip is made in the form of stop which when in operating position is at an acute angle to longitudinal axis of bar, its apex being oriented in direction of idle stroke of bar, and which rests upon catch. Each end of bar is positioned at a distance from nearest working surface of catch second from end of bar smaller than bar working stroke value for disconnecting said stop from bar and free hanging thereof the moment slide performs its reversal stroke. Working surface of catch first from bar end is positioned at a distance b from indicated working surface of second catch, said distance being determined from condition b>2l, where l is a distance between working surface of bar and vertical plane extending through axis of rotation of stop cooperating with stop catch.

EFFECT: enhanced reliability in starting of automatic reversal mechanism of holder, reduced damage to animals, and improved safety for operators.
