FIELD: medicine, neurosurgery.
SUBSTANCE: one should measure liquor pressure (LP), detect liquor's osmotic pressure (LOP) and that of blood (BOP) in mm mercury column, then it is necessary to determine central venous pressure (CVP) in mm mercury column followed by estimating the predicted intraventricular pressure (PP) by the following formula: PP=PA+CVP-LP-BOP+LOP, where PA - the pressure in arteriole 30 mm mercury column; the dynamics of pressure in cerebral ventricles should be determined by the resulting pressure (RP) by the following formula: RP= PP-LP, and at RP=0 the dynamics of pressure is not predicted, at RP>0 one should predict the increase of intraventricular pressure, at RP<0 - the decrease of intraventricular pressure. The innovation enables to obtain the criteria of the prediction of the altered pressure in ventricular system and predict the alteration of intraventricular pressure more accurately.
EFFECT: higher accuracy of prediction.
