FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves applying milling hole in the place typical for ventricular puncture and performing puncture of the lateral ventricle with soft cannula which is then connected with flexible reservoir placed into the subaponeurotic space of the head. Next to it, the reservoir is punctured transcutaneously and external drain is set for liquor to outflow in continuous mode. The liquor circulation parameters being improved, the external drain is removed by simply pulling it out. The reservoir is punctured transcutaneously in the course of treatment. The question of removing the drain or implanting a persistent drainage system is solved based on the clinical symptoms development data. EFFECT: prevented complications.
