METHOD FOR TREATING PERFORATED ULCERS IN PYLORODUODENAL AREA IN AN EXPERIMENT Russian patent published in 2007 - IPC A61B17/00 A61B17/94 

FIELD: medicine, surgery.

SUBSTANCE: under control of fibrogastroduodenoscope one should apply a catheter with a balloon through perforated foramen into free abdominal cavity followed by minilaparotomy. Then one should apply a Z-shaped suture onto the center of Tachocomb collagen plate, fix a plate to the catheter by tightening the suture being distally against the balloon. The catheter's balloon should be blown to achieve the contact with gastric wall; fibrogastroduodenoscope should be removed to fulfill sanitation of abdominal cavity; then abdominal cavity should be drained, minilaparotomic wound should be sutured in; catheter with the emptied balloon should be removed under endoscopic control in due time. Method for sealing the perforated foramen is simple technically and available economically, it requires no videolaparoscopic accompanying procedures, avoids "umbilicus"-shaped protrusion of the plate and provides reliable sealing and earlier epithelization of pyloric perforated foramen.

EFFECT: higher efficiency of therapy.
