METHOD FOR ENDOSCOPIC SUTURE-FREE OMENTOPLASTY OF GASTRODUODENAL PERFORATIONS IN EXPERIMENT Russian patent published in 2007 - IPC A61B17/00 A61B17/94

Abstract RU 2309685 C1

FIELD: medicine, surgery.

SUBSTANCE: the present innovation deals with treating gastroduodenal perforations of different genesis: one should carry out fibrogastroduodenoscopy, introduce a catheter into the stomach supplied with a balloon out of silicone rubber at distal end, under the control of fibrogastroduodenoscope it is necessary to apply catheter's distal end with a loop-shaped ligature through nose through perforative foramen into free abdominal cavity; fulfill minilaparotomy in the projection of withdrawn catheter, omental strand should be introduced into the loop of the ligature and tighten the ligature by fixing "sealing" omentum towards the catheter; through perforative foramen the strand of the omentum fixed at the catheter should be applied into gastric lumen for the depth of gastric wall; through the catheter the balloon should be blown to have contact with mucosa and "sealing" omentum; then comes sanitation of abdominal cavity, minilaparotomic wound should be sutured in; fibrogastroduodenoscope should be removed. The suggested method of suture-free omentoplasty of gastroduodenal perforations is simple in its technical implementation, requires no videolaparoscopic control, it is not associated with either tightening or weakening of loop ligature and creates reliable contact of "sealing" omentum with the balloon that provides hermetic nature and earlier epithelization of gastric wall defect and provides prophylaxis of perforation relapses.

EFFECT: higher efficiency.
