FIELD: metal-polymer composition for making steel blanks prepared by mechanically mixing two mixtures.
SUBSTANCE: one of mixtures used for preparing composition contains finely dispersed powders at least of one alloy element, iron and iron oxide, mass %. Second mixture contains thermosetting phenol formaldehyde resin, 8 - 15 mass %; and plasticizing agent being stearic acid salt, at next relation of ingredients, mass %: thermosetting phenol formaldehyde resin, 8 - 15; stearic acid salt, 0.4 - 1.5; iron oxide, 8 - 40; mixture of alloying powders and iron, the balance. First mixture may contain as alloying element finely divided powder of nickel, chrome, copper, molybdenum, manganese, aluminum, titanium, vanadium.
EFFECT: enlarged assortment of metal-polymer compositions used for making steel blanks due to processing compositions by molding and sintering during shortened cycle.
