FIELD: composite materials on base of glass matrices reinforced with carbon fibrous fillers for manufacture of heavily loaded parts, tread rings, for example; aeronautical, space and mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed composite material is intended for operation at working temperatures up to 800C. Proposed composite material includes glass matrix containing SiO2, B2O3 and carbon fibrous filler whose glass matrix contains additionally Al2O3, SrO, BaO, TiO2 at the following ratio of components, mass-%: glass matrix, 60.5-73.5; carbon fibrous filler, 26.5-39.5 at the following ratio of components of glass matrix, mass-%: SiO2, 35.0-55.5; B2O3, 6.0-15.0; Al2O3,12.0-15.0; SrO, 9.0-10.0; BaO, 12.0-15.0; TiO2, 5.5-10.0. Carbon fibrous filler is made in form of thread, tape, cloth or cord.
EFFECT: enhanced heat resistance of composite material.
