FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: present invention pertains to composite materials, particularly to composite materials based on glass-ceramic matrices, reinforced with carbon-bearing filling materials for making sharp-edged thermally loaded components, such as posts, adapter spacers, threaded fastener elements etc, based on belt-like and cord-like prepregs, used in aviation, space technology and machine building. Proposal is given of a ceramic composite material, containing glass-matrix and carbon fibre filler, with the following ratio of components, in wt %: glass-matrix - 60.5-73.5, carbon fibre filler - 26.5-39.5. The glass-matrix contains the following components, in wt %: Al2O3 -21.0-21.9; SrO - 4.7-19.4; BaO - 1.0-14.0; TiO2 - 11.7-12.2, Al2TiO5 - 1.8-6.5, SiO2 - the rest.
EFFECT: increased heat resistance and thermal stability of the material at working temperatures of up to 800°C with low coefficient of thermal expansion.
