FIELD: coloring compositions, dyes.
SUBSTANCE: invention proposes a coloring composition comprising a mixture of polyvinylbutyral and novolacs phenolformaldehyde resin as a film-forming polymer, a mixture of butyl acetate, ethyl alcohol, metaxylene as organic solvents, and aluminum powder to form covers showing metallic luster and exhibiting enhanced impact strength and resistance at high temperature. These properties are based on preparing cross-linked structures as result of interaction of hydroxyl groups of polyvinylbutyral with methylol or hydroxyl groups of novolacs phenolformaldehyde resin. Proposed coloring composition can be used in staining cars, plastics, covers for industrial designation and in preparing printing dyes.
